What will happen on the first visit?
We’ll ask you to describe the issues that bring you to therapy and tell us what you would like to achieve.
We’ll also give you initial feedback regarding your situation and share how we can help. We answer your questions about the process relating to your specific situation.
What if my partner won’t attend?
Come anyway. Often one partner is hesitant to see a therapist. We can address these issues in the first session.
We can make suggestions to engage your partner in coming to sessions.
We can also work on changes you can make individually. Remember, when one part of a system changes, the other part has to respond differently.

Tele-therapy is much more convenient than coming to the office. No travel time. No traffic or rush to get to appointments. No babysitter needed. No concern about the weather.
Easy Scheduling
Clients have more flexibility scheduling appointments. Instead of appointments before or after work, many schedule sessions during the day.
On Time
Appointments are on-time. No waiting in the office. Paperwork, HIPAA forms are sent ahead. No time is needed for administrative tasks each week.
Comfort
Many clients feel more comfortable sharing personal information at home, especially if one partner is reticent to come to therapy or walk into a therapist’s office.
Different Locations
Clients can be seen in two different locations, if one or both are at work, or they’re in a long-distance relationship.
Confidentiality
We use a secure HIPAA-compliant Tele-health platform to see clients.
