Today’s technology greatly impacts trust in our relationships and marriages for better or worse. Cheating gets discovered on cell phones and computers; exes are found on Facebook; internet dating sites and pornography have made it easier and more tempting to cheat.On the other hand, trust can be built or rebuilt when there’s an atmosphere of transparency with technology, and passwords; and when partners can moderate their use of gadgets during their connecting time.I want to share a study on how cell phones affect the perception of trust, empathy, and the quality of relationships. As you read it, think about your cell phone use and its impact on your relationship.
