Live Your Life to the Fullest

When our kids were younger, someone told me:

"The days go slowly, but the years fly by."

Every year that becomes more true for me. But it’s no longer just about the kids. It’s about watching my immediate and extended family grow older; it’s about friends aging and some facing illness; it’s about seeing the fragility of life and how vulnerable we are as humans. Boy, that sounds depressing. Here is the wonderful part of that knowledge for me:

  • Consciously choosing more peace and joy; moving away from stress,
  • Feeling at the peak of my career,
  • Realizing that I’ve made a difference in the world,
  • Appreciating every morning I awaken,
  • Being grateful for my relationship with Bob, and the precious time our kids actually want to spend with us,
  • Expressing love to my parents,
  • Being loving and kind to extended family, friends and strangers,
  • Not waiting to create and carry out my bucket list,
  • Being more mindful of living each day to the fullest.

How does this apply to you? Make 2017 the year you move towards living your life to the fullest.
