The last secret we focus on today may make the difference between couples who succeed and those who don’t.Secret #9 - Persevere.Bob will tell you my middle name is “persevere.” I think it is in my DNA. Whenever there is a question, a problem or a challenge, I am driven to persevere until I solve it. Sometimes this works in my favor, and sometimes it drives Bob (and me) crazy. Especially when I can’t relax till I figure “it” out.In relationships, perseverance is an essential ingredient. Whether you are working on listening to understand your partner, on forgiveness after an affair, or on improving your sexual relationship, patient determination may make the difference between staying together or not. In practice we sometimes feel one or both partners in a relationship give up too quickly.
